The Construction Process

Which Scenario Fits Your Situation?
Scenario 1:
You have a house to sell and want to relocate to a new area in the county or to a smaller or larger lot.

The average move in time if you must sell a home, find a lot, get pre-qualified, draw a plan, complete a description of materials, draw up a contract, get qualified for permanent financing, build your new custom home, close and move in is an average of 18 months. Start today and list your home and let us assist you with finding a lot, loan qualification, drawing plans, create a description of materials and finalize a contract. This will save approximately 4 months in the back office work if these items are completed while you await your home to sell. Having all these items completed ahead of time allows us to start as soon as your existing home is sold.

Scenario 2:
You own a lot and are ready to begin the process in building a custom home. You need financing and a plan but are ready to start now.

The average time to construct a professional residential custom home on a lot you own takes approximately 7 months to complete. This includes the time for qualification, building the home and closing.

Scenario 3:
You own a lot and are ready to begin the process in building a custom home. You are paying cash and will not need finance services, but do need home plans to start the process immediately.

The average time to construct a professional residential custom home when you own your lot and pay with cash takes approximately six months.

Scenario 4:
You own a lot and are ready to begin the process in building a custom home. You are paying cash and will not need finance services and have your plans ready to build.

The average time to construct a professional residential custom home when you own your lot, pay with cash and have your plans takes approximately 4-5 months.
